For a report from a highly reliable source about the spying by the U.S. government about its widespread spying on its own citizens in contradiction to U.S. laws, watch Frontline’s report of the United States of Secrets.
Frontline is produced by WGBH television and is broadcast on most PBS Stations.
The United States of Secrets is a report of the history of domestic spying that started after the 9/11 attack, the arguments amongst senior government officials over the legality of such spying, and the lives that were ruined in the process. Many people believe the NSA was doing and continues to do something wrong. The study exposes secret courts, hidden agendas, and the National Security Letters that order corporations to divulge secrets about their customers, all without court orders. It details the deliberate invasion of privacy of U.S. citizens by our own government.
The video is backed up with much documentation and also with video interviews of several of the key players on both sides of the issues raised.
