Encrypting Windows Hard Drives

Encryption expert Bruce Schneier has written an article that describes the options available for Widows users. He writes, “Encrypting your Windows hard drives is trivially easy; choosing which program to use is annoyingly difficult.”

The article describes what is available today to make your Windows system private. If you are still using Windows, you might want to read the article at https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2015/06/encrypting_wind.html.

I had to smile when I read a comment posted by a reader at the end of that article:

“Why do you use Windows??!!!

“It’s like walking around drone-filled skies with a huge targeting beacon mounted to your head.”
