Opera Releases a Free and Unlimited VPN for iPhone

A few days ago I described the free VPN (Virtual Private Network) that is included with the latest version of the Opera web browser for Windows, Macintosh, and Linux. (See http://www.opera.com/blogs/desktop/2016/04/free-vpn-integrated-opera-for-windows-mac/ for the earlier article.) Now Opera has also added a free VPN to the Opera browser for the iPhone.

opera-vpn-for-iphoneOpera VPN works just like any other VPN app on iOS. You can connect to the internet in the United States, or route your traffic through Canada, Netherlands, Germany, or Singapore. Alongside giving you a new region, Opera VPN also blocks ads and trackers. Opera’s promising the VPN will be free for life.

The latest update is available only for the iPhone, not for Android phones.

You can learn more at the Opera web site at http://www.opera.com/mobile/vpn/iphone.
