Securely is a file deletion program. It makes sure the individual files you delete are really gone for good, Shredo’s a solid tool for doing so.
I doubt if many people really need a tool that completely obliterates files. However, if you are one of the few people who does have such a need, you might want to investigate Shredo. It not only hides things from online hackers and government hackers alike, it also hides the anniversary gift you ordered for your spouse.
All you have to do is drag a file into Shredo under whatever security level you’d like to use. Depending on security level and data erase speed, you have 3 shredding methods at your disposal. After you do, Shredo does its job and deletes the file. It’s a super simple and easy way to make sure files are securely removed. The highest security option, which is also the slowest, erases file access info and writes over the data 35 times, based on the Gutmann method for deletion.
Shredo costs $4.99 US.

Shredo is designed for mechanical drives, not SSDs. None of the “securely delete your files” apps will securely delete files on SSD drives. However, there are other ways to accomplish the same thing.
