Yahoo Confirms Massive Data Breach, 500 Million Users Impacted

Yahoo has confirmed the data breach, adding that about 500 million users are impacted. Yahoo said “a copy of certain user account information was stolen from the company’s network in late 2014 by what it believes is a state-sponsored actor.” As Business Insider reports, this could be the largest data breach of all time.

  1. With all the data breaches going on users have to change passwords often and use one that is very complex. Unchanged passwords from 2014 is almost asking for problems unfortunately.
