New FCC Chairman Plans To Block Privacy Regulations

The Federal Communications Commission’s new chairman wants to block a rule approved by his predecessor requiring Internet service providers like Comcast and Verizon adhere to new privacy standards. If he succeeds, your private information, including your buying habits and lists of the web sites you visit, will be available to marketeers and to anyone else who purchases your information from your Internet service provider, unless you use a VPN.
