American Prosecutors Want Your Private Data, even if Stored Outside the US

This summer the US Supreme Court will decide whether US prosecutors can get hold of data stored all over the world. Experts warn that this will jeopardize privacy rights and open the door for similar privacy intrusions from other countries, including China and Russia.

It’s time everyone, both U.S. residents and non-U.S. residents, to switch to encrypted email services and encrypted storage of data files (replacing Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and similar services).
